Electronic Access

Did you know that as a McGill grad, you have access to thousands of electronic publications through the McGill Library? Whether it’s the latest New York Times Best Seller or a digital version of your favourite magazine, the McGill Library has it, and it’s yours to borrow, free of charge. In-person Access

Alumni have access to a wide selection of McGill Library’s print collections on campus. Sign up for your free McGill Library Borrowing Card for Alumni today to start borrowing from the Library’s collection of 3.7 million physical volumes.

Events at the Library

The Library holds a number of free annual seminars and events, often in association with the Friends of the Library. These events are designed to promote the Library within the broader McGill and Montreal communities, and illuminate the Library's rich collections against a vivid backdrop of Canadian history, culture and politics.
