US PARENTS LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

The McGill US Parents Leadership Council will connect you to a vibrant community of like-minded parents in the US and will ultimately provide you with a deeper understanding of the McGill student experience.

“As parents of a recent McGill graduate, we admire the resilience of McGill students as they respond to a myriad of changes to their daily lives. Our daughter Erika’s (BA’19) experience at McGill was transformative. The University, while readying her for professional success, taught her to be resourceful and self-reliant as well. Grateful for her experience, it is our wish that all McGill students benefit the way Erika did.”

Shelley & Frank (MDCM’79) Litvack (California),
Co-Chairs, US Parents Leadership Council

What is the US Parents Leadership Council?

The US Parents Leadership Council recognizes the crucial role that parents play in student success, from Send-Offs to graduation.

Council members are invited to engage in the McGill experience and are committed to building community among McGill families as volunteers, ambassadors and philanthropic leaders in support of the University’s vision for its third century.

As a member of the US Parents Leadership Council, you will have the unique opportunity to support the University in ensuring the best possible student experience. Members can also participate in high-value engagement and networking opportunities with University leaders and other McGill parents, including masterclasses, cocktail receptions, salons, and webcasts with some of the University’s top researchers.

“Our daughter is a current (very happy!) McGill student, looking forward to a return to an in-person school year this fall. We are all stakeholders in the continued success of the University: we support its mission and encourage McGill parents to learn about the growing McGill US Parents Leadership Council. Join us for exciting educational events with McGill professors and thought leaders, meet top administrators of the University, and engage with fellow parents!”
