• The McGill Alumni Association Volunteer Handbook will help get you started.
  
• Review the Volunteer Affirmation of Compliance and McGill's Non-Disclosure Agreement to gain an understanding of the important role volunteers play in helping to preserve McGill’s long-standing reputation for excellence. If you are selected to hold a governance role, be it on a Board, branch constituent, reunion group, or other, the documents will be sent directly to you for signature.

• Find local MAA branch representatives and McGill ambassadors. 
  
• Search the Alumni Directory.
• Join McGillConnect and the McGill Alumni Association Regional Volunteers LinkedIn group.

Funding Your Alumni Activity

• Submit your Alumni Community Funding Post Event Report within 10 business days.

Ways to Promote your McGill Activity

• Use McGill's volunteer event management system to set-up  your event listing on the Alumni Events Calendar and send emails to promote your event to all local McGillians.  Reference the How to request an event guide.
  
• Use social media to further promote your event - it's a quick and easy way to get your message out. There are social media pages for most regions.
